I. Product Features

Binhong's plaster bandage roll + pillow-pack packaging line is a high-end automated production system tailored to the characteristics of medical plaster bandages (calcined plaster). It solves the industry pain points of plaster bandages—easy breakage, powder shedding, and difficult roll tightness control—and achieves full automation from unwinding, cut-to-length, rolling to pillow-pack packaging.

1.Flexible rolling technology: Given the brittleness of plaster bandages, a special flexible winding mechanism ensures even force during winding, neat edges, no breakage or wrinkles, and moderate roll density.

2.Dust-free design: Key parts adopt dust-proof sealing design and are equipped with dust extraction ports, effectively reducing plaster dust generated during production, protecting equipment precision and improving the workshop environment.

3.Intelligent constant-tension control: The whole line uses servo motors with high-precision tension sensors to achieve closed-loop tension control during unwinding and rolling, ensuring highly consistent tightness for every roll.

4.Integrated inline operation: The rolling main machine and pillow-pack machine are seamlessly connected; automatic conveying and arranging mechanisms realize "integrated roll-and-pack," greatly reducing labor costs and eliminating secondary contamination.

5.Convenient HMI: Equipped with a large touchscreen, it can preset production parameters for different specs (roll length, roll diameter, packaging speed, etc.) and switch with one click for easy operation.

II. Production Process

The line features a rigorous process to ensure high-quality output:

Raw material unwinding: The large plaster bandage roll is loaded with the help of a hydraulic or pneumatic loading cart and enters the unwinding station.

Tension buffering and deviation correction: Passing through a tension floating roller and automatic deviation correction device (EPC) corrects material misalignment and buffers tension fluctuation during production.

Cut-to-length counting: A high-precision encoder monitors conveying length in real time and sends a signal once the set meterage is reached.

Automatic rolling: The main shaft drives high-speed winding of the plaster bandage; together with a pressure roller mechanism, it ensures a flat roll surface and neat end faces.

Automatic cutting and unloading: After rolling, the cutter automatically cuts the bandage, and a manipulator or pusher smoothly transfers the finished roll to the packaging feed chain.

Arranging and conveying: The conveyor arranges the plaster rolls and feeds them orderly into the pillow-pack machine.

Pillow-pack packaging: The packaging machine automatically forms the bag, fills, seals, and cuts, outputting the final product.
