In the medical consumables industry chain, medical textile materials - including gauze, dressings, bandages, surgical towels, etc. - have extremely high requirements for cleanliness, softness and packaging integrity due to their direct contact with human wounds. However, the post-processing packaging of such products has long been confronted with an awkward predicament: general packaging equipment is not suitable for the local environment, while manual packaging is difficult to meet the increasingly strict GMP standards and the demands of large-scale production.

It is precisely against such an industry backdrop that BinHong has always adhered to one belief: Only by focusing can one achieve the ultimate. We have not ventured into any other fields. For over 20 years, we have been single-mindedly engaged in the research and development and manufacturing of post-processing equipment for medical textile materials, striving to become an "invisible champion" in this niche field.

I. Why does medical textile packaging require "specialized" equipment?

Medical gauze, elastic bandages and other products have the characteristics of soft texture, easy deformation, easy fuzzing and easy moisture absorption. If general food or daily chemical packaging equipment is modified for production, the following "complications" are often brought about:

1. Physical damage: General equipment is usually designed for hard or regular objects. Excessive force on the conveyor belt and gripper can easily cause the gauze to wrinkle, deform or even be torn, resulting in a waste of expensive raw materials.

2. Hygiene risks: Open or semi-open packaging environments, as well as equipment dead corners, are prone to generating dust and bacteria, which cannot meet the aseptic or clean requirements of medical products.

3. Poor adaptability: Medical textiles come in a wide variety of specifications, ranging from small gauze pieces a few centimeters long to bandage rolls several meters long. General equipment often fails to switch quickly, resulting in long production changeover times and low efficiency.

II. Binhong Solution: A Fully automatic Packaging Line Designed for "Softness"

In response to the above-mentioned pain points, the R&D team of Bin Hong delved into the front line and conducted tens of thousands of tests on the physical properties of medical textile materials. Eventually, they developed a "flexible, intelligent and compliant" fully automatic packaging production solution.

Flexible processing technology, caring for every inch of "softness" :

The Binhong production line is equipped with an independently developed flexible conveying system and low-damage grasping mechanism. By adopting high-precision mirror suction cups and pneumatic buffering technology, the products are handled with care to ensure that the gauze does not wrinkle, the bandages do not get damaged, and the surgical towels do not deform during high-speed operation. Meanwhile, it is equipped with an intelligent tension control system, which can automatically adapt to medical textiles of different materials and thicknesses. Whether it is light and thin mesh gauze or heavy abdominal belts, it can handle them with ease.

"Fully enclosed sterile design, building a solid safety defense line:

Considering the particularity of medical products, the entire machine of Binhong equipment is made of 304 food-grade/medical-grade stainless steel, with a mirror-polished surface that has no hygiene dead corners and is easy to clean and disinfect. The production line can be optionally equipped with a laminar flow purification system to achieve fully enclosed aseptic packaging, minimizing manual contact to the greatest extent, effectively eliminating the risk of microbial contamination, and ensuring that the products meet medical-grade standards as soon as they leave the factory.

Modular intelligent design, significant cost reduction and efficiency improvement:

Our production line covers the entire process from the sorting of individual small packages (pillow packages), multi-stage automatic counting, to the sealing, coding and inspection of combined large packages (horizontal/vertical). It adopts a PLC+HMI intelligent control system. Just input parameters on the touch screen to achieve rapid production change without the need to replace molds or only require simple adjustments. This not only reduced the demand for labor by over 80%, but also increased production efficiency by 3 to 5 times.

III. Conclusion

In the medical industry, safety and efficiency have never been multiple-choice questions but compulsory ones. BinHong, with its profound understanding of the characteristics of medical textile materials and its exquisite mastery of automation technology, has successfully brought the word "specialized" to the extreme.

We are not only providers of equipment, but also optimizers of post-processing techniques for medical textiles. Choosing Binhong means choosing a knowledgeable partner, an expert who can help you solve "softness" problems, improve product quality and reduce overall costs.
